Okay… I lied about the train.
But the plane and the tractor are real enough.
Following are two recent HDRs, one is set firmly set in “batshit crazy” mode and the other is relatively subtle, I shall let you decide which is which.

It’s always the way!
You’re packing up from a days shooting hand-held and you look over your shoulder and see a wonderful cloud formation rolling in from the east… Hmm… HDR time you think… where is my tripod? No really.. where is it!? ah Cr@p I forgot to bring it! <expletives deleted>
Utilising the roof of my car, a few lens caps, a bag of lens cleaning gubbins and a flash (all to rest the camera on) I had everything framed and focused ready to take the following HDR… If only I had noticed I was on ISO-200 <smacks forehead> anyway for a rush setup I think it came out fairly well. Again I haven’t gone over the top with this one as you see many people doing with HDRs.
